The people are nice but the hotel is very ran down. Definitely needs to be remodeled. I travel alot for work and stay in different places but this is not one that I will be staying at again.

Room was comfortable but quirky, e.g. tube TV, turn dial microwave, smoke alarm yellowed with age (but not ancient), but old and worn out key-based locks with instructions circa the early 80s were a bit troubling. Front desk very responsive: somehow our room had no shower curtain but a call to the front desk and a clerk was there to install one in less than 5 minutes. Not much remodeling would be needed to make the place really stand out, hopefully that will happen. I'd stay again if I got wind of a remodel, but otherwise I wouldn't. Pretty sure the elevator isn't ADA compliant, either.
Price matched our online price inside. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were pitch black with curtains drawn. Low noise. Was a bit expensive for us but we managed. Breakfast had a decent selection. I would stay here again.
Wanted to come here for a day. Was assigned to the 3rd floor, which stunk like seafood on the entire floor for some reason. When we got the room it seemed okay. After relaxing for about half an hour, we turned on the heat. The heater stunk so bad! It smelled like it hadn't been turned on in a decade. I went downstairs to ask for a refund. The receptionist called in the manager. This guy was a total prick. He would only refund our money if we had a room complaint within 10 minutes. Seriously dude? We were in the room for 40 minutes. Not our fault we didn't immediately turn the heater on. The only reason I don't give this place 1 star is because the receptionist (Christy) was nice and did TRY to accommodate us, but since the manager was such a dick, we left anyway. Won't be back and would never recommend to anyone.
The sauna at this location worked well. The breakfast was also pretty good as long as you like waffles. No other hot food option other than pre-packaged microwave burritos. Rooms were decent and clean, about as good as can be expected from an economy Hotel.
