I just received an emailed receipt: I WAS CHARGED A $100 CLEANING FEE FOR HAVING THE DOGS IN THE ROOM FOR LESS THAN 5 MINUTES!!! I was also charged for the room! How can they charge for a room after refusing service? How can you tell someone they can't stay and then charge them? I have all the paperwork to prove that those are an actual emotional support dog and a service dog.
Very nice hotel and we have stayed here a few times. Reasonable prices and the breakfast is convenient even though we still go out to breakfast anyway as well at the nearby Elmer's.
We indicated we were bringing a service animal when we made our reservation. We had an emotional support animal and a service animal. When our kids came in with the animals Clara said we couldn't bring them in. I told her they weren't pets. She said they weren't allowed. I told her we listed them on our reservation and we had just stayed a week at the Hampton Inn in Tacoma Washington with no problems. She said she would try calling her manager and to go wait in our room and she would let us know if we could stay. The kids and I were very upset and we had been traveling a long time. We decided to try to find a place where we could definitely stay and left. Before we left I told her I wanted my card credited back. I will admit I was very angry and raised my voice. I had a right to be upset. She questioned my kid's disabilities and caused them to be upset.
Good location, Costco gas 8 miles away, very nice hardworking staff. Did not recognize elite diamond level good breakfast. Safe walking outside.good computer area. No one looking over my shoulder.room clean and has a foot rest.
We had a very pleasant stay. Nice clean room in a totally no smoking facility. Lots of choices at continental breakfast. Didn't use pool or fitness center but they looked very nice. Great staff--special thanks to Erica at the front desk and to the woman serving breakfast today. Only con is the high price or we would have stayed longer.
Update November 2017: we're staying here again tonight but the pool is closed for renovations and there was no notice until we arrived. Yes it's winter but we were looking forward to a swim together as part of our decision to stay here.
The hotel is clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and very friendly. We had trouble with the key cards, but the staff knew about the issue and told us it was being fixed. Our kids enjoyed the pool and hot-tub. Overall a nice experie.
