Tired property that smelled like cigarette smoke. Thank goodness we could open the window in the room as it reeked of smoke so bad our eyes watered and sinuses hurt.
The service was awful in both the grill and the sports bar. Took 20 minutes for them to take our order both times, with the grill adding 30 minutes to get a simple breakfast. Meanwhile two other couples got seated after us and had finished their meals before we even got ours. There are far better hotel options in Medford, especially if you are trying to impress clients.
The rooms were good and the price was great. They were kind and courteous for the most part and gave us a 12pm check out when we had car trouble which was kind, but would have appreciated a little more time. Also at 11:15 the housekeeping staff demanded to know when we would be out of the room, despite our informing them of the late check out approved by management. So we rushed and got out by about 11:35am. Overall a good experience just can't bring myself to give a higher rating.
They upgraded us to a nicer room when we asked. The first floor is almost like a basement and feels a little stuffy and dingy. The room we ended up staying in was nice. Very clean. Could stand to be updated a little but the hotel makes up for this with amazing room service. Really awesome indoor pool and hot tub. Food is amazing.
Went there for Sunday morning breakfast. Excellent service! Would recommend to anyone that was looking for a "special" place to eat with that "special" someone.
My husband and I decided to do the date night special for our 1st Anniversary. We booked a normal room. When we arrived the front desk staff were super friendly and the woman who checked us into the hotel asked us what the occasion was and I told her our first anniversary. She smiled and immediately upgraded us to a suite and told us happy anniversary. It was so kind!!! The room, dinner , and comedy night was amazing!!! Perfect little getaway!!! We definitely will be going back soon!!!
