Just stuff like that! I have stayed in a lot of small hotels/motels and they always have the basics...but Motel 6 falls short on those items. I guess comfort is not a basic anymore.
I was disappointed that there was no shampoo or conditioner, nor a hair dryer. No Kleenex. The towels are horrible, stiff and very SMALL! The bed was a bit lumpy, and hard. It just wasn't very comfortable after traveling all day.
The room is fine. It was clean, sort of. Just not sparkling clean. Hair etc on the floors....I kept my flip flops on.
I always stay at Motel 6 because they are usually the cleanest, nicest, and best priced motels everywhere. But I was terribly disappointed at my stay at the South Medford motel 6. When I got into my room, I walked in and it was freezing. They had had the air conditioning on and it was like an ice box in the room, and I didn't get in my room until 8 pm, so it didn't need to be on in the first place. It took forever to warm up. Then I look up and there was a ton of webs or dust webs all in the grate to the air conditioner. And you could see that the filter inside hadn't been changed in quite some time. It was disgusting. Then later in the evening I pull the bedspread back and the blanket had several stains. And the thing that topped it all off for the weekend for me was there was no WiFi the whole time I was there the 2 days. I take my work with me and I NEEDED to work but was unable to until I got back home. So seriously, this was not only the most expensive stay at a motel6 for me, but definitely the most disappointing. I definitely will NEVER stay at this particular motel 6 again.
Had to spend a few nights a Motel 6 but for the cheapest place (basically) it's actually one of the nicest places. The rooms are kept today and feel new, updated which is a nice addition. Nice flat screen TV's mounted on the wall, feels homey. The service when I checked in was great but whoever I got when checking out (perhaps the manager) was rude to me. Still didn't effect my overall experience but I thought was unnecessary for a paying customer. I will be staying here in the future, if possible at least since I had a few words to share not sure. I would still recommend it to a friend, they don't require a credit card and allow locals so those are usually a plus for some people. The price is hard to beat for what you get
Pulling back the sheets will make you want to sleep in your vehicle. Called customer service and got a 100% refund and voucher for next time (not happening). Take a picture of the mattress and post to their twitter for best results.
My dad is on oxygen so we ordered a concentrator from Apria to be delivered to the hotel for his stay.The clerk at the front desk refused it that morning. We had to wait 2 hours for it to be delivered after convincing them it wouldn't be refused again. The single lamp in the accessible room for my parents did not work. My husband and I were on the second floor and our room was very nice but only one washcloth for two people is a bit ridiculous and the pillows in both rooms were pretty skimpy. Was more disappointed in my parent's accessible room...too small. I will pay more at another hotel for their comfort next time.
