This place has good products and good sales, but it seems like their prices are higher than competitors.
Most Michaels stores seem to be heavily understaffed. That's my biggest complaint about this chain, and it's a common theme among the 3 stores I've visited in various places. This one is no exception. Nobody around to help you, and checkout is slow. If you're familiar with where things are, the shopping is easy. Just be prepared to wait when you checkout.
It's a Michaels with Michaels stuff, but I hate going here. I never pay the price I think I will, and the staff have been so rude. I have been told coupons would work on items, so I excitedly grab them, and when I get to the register (with the same person who told me they would work) they don't work and the employee just shrugs. Or even though their adds say the 20% coupon can be used on top of prices, they won't let you use them. And the refuse to match their own advertised prices for things in the store.
There was trash all over the front of their building and in displays in front of their store. Upon check out I was told it wouldn't be cleaned because "that's not their job". No pride in the presentation of their business and full of rude employees.
