Use to bring my son here for care but stopped after seeing three different providers and receiving horrible care from each one. Got left in the patient room for over an hour for my son's well visit by Dr. Conway because he needed to take a call about another patient. My son needed shots and couldn't find a nurse or staff member to assist. Ended up walking out and never heard anything else from the office. Switched to a different office which we and my son love a lot more.
Thus my review, is skilled doctors and excellent hours with terrible policy and no exceptions for very long term patients. So be aware if you get in with them don't be in a position where you have to cancel a single appointment (even if it's because your in labor) or get a time confused because their staff wrote the wrong time on an appointment card, they don't care the reason.
I really liked this practice a lot. As a child I saw both Dr. Mary and Matt Hough, as an adult my children have seen Dr. Murdock. They are all very knowledgeable and wonderful with kids and babies. However, after coming here as a child and brining my own children here for nearly 7 years we were dismissed from the clinic. We cancelled an appointment with slightly less than 48 hrs notice and got a time confused for another appointment. So in reality we missed one appointment, which I feel bad about but the staff didn't properly communicate the time of the appointment. The first appointment I did call and cancel, and was told that was fine and I would be billed. I'm amazed that counted as a no show. They decided to dismiss us from the clinic with a 14 day old baby and while our older daughter is sick and needed care. They informed us we could see them for acute care and jaundice issues until we find a new pediatrician. Thank goodness we already have a new pediatrician and my newborn will get the care he needs as will my 7 year old. It's unbelievable after 7 years of being a patient that has always paid my bills on time, that hasbt missed any appointments until these two (really 1) that we would be dismissed. However, I do understand office policy and we did agree to those terms.
We have been so pleased by the care provided by Southern Oregon Pediatrics, specifically by Dr. Matt Hough. He is experienced, thoughtful and thorough.
Dr. Conway and his MA Kristi are the best in town. And if we need to see another doc, we have had a great experience with all we've met. But we cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Conway is!
Awesome doctors, very personable. All of the staff has been great in our experience. Nice that they are open weekends as well.
