Giving them one (1) star is a bit much, but it's as low a score as I could give.
Absolutely the worse excuse for customer service and front desk people I've ever witnessed in a medical facility in my life.
Outstanding doctors. I had an accident a few months ago, I went through a pain free surgery/recovery (Dr. Denard) and an accurate diagnostic for secondary issues on my left foot (Dr. Owens). Both, professionals and very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable. I highly recommend this place.
Pretending to not know what was going on, in this case, is the same as LYING to my face. Even if/when this issue gets resolved, I'll never be back to this place. There are too many good orthopedic Dr's in this valley to have to deal with such people. I believe their main goal is, "spend add little time with patient as possible, but get as much money as possible" The say, "People typically spend 45 min to 1.5 hr here"... what they don't tell you is...ALL but 10 minutes is spent in the waiting room.
Went to Dr. Ho for a hip injury...he only took x-ray, did not touch me at all to find where the pain is coming from. So, I did x-ray, of course it is not the bone. I am having nerve impingement down my right leg and foot, have already had 8 weeks of P.T., and I am still in difficult pain walking. I called to ask for a MRI, but he won't prescribe me one. All they do there is deal with bone/hip pain, and not anything else about the hip. So where else do I go? He sent me to Cabello, the back doctor, and he did a MRI of my back, but said he didn't think I was surgical. So now i am left limping and with this horrible nerve hip pain all the way to my ankle and foot. and they don't even care. I can't believe there is no one who wants to address my symptoms and refuse to do an MRI on my hip. Uncaring doctors who only like people with "high class insurance." Beware if you have Medicare, If they can't make any money off of Medicare, they will toss you out the door. It is a horrible experience. They don't care how many people fall through the cracks. And they were given a licence to serve the people, and to do it honestly and fairly, but now I believe they are all part of a "club", which does not up hold to their medical oath. We should be better protected from non caring, doctors who only want to serve the rich.
Expedient staff, waited 10 minutes, Dr. came in within minutes!! He hadnt read the MRI which makes me wonder if he took enough time to evaluate. He was not warm, no smile, but he did not take my probing questions personally, which indicates an intelligent, confidently skilled Dr. He fully considered all my questions, and offered alternatives to the surgical stage for the future. His exam was thorough and hands on. He did not explain anything that was not from our inquiry. The Asst was so involved in another patients insistence that it was 15 minutes before we were checked out. Although they appear fo be going out of their way to be considerate, it was obvious she was inexperienced in dealing with needy patients, so she failed to prioritize. The staff are efficient and polite without genuine caring. They are not seasoned with insurance claims.
I like my Dr but I always have a very long wait. 2day it's been an hr & I haven't even got 2 room yet. Maybe they need to schedule less patients!
