I have never in my life had a worse experience in a Doctors office. Yesterday I received a reminder call for my 10:30 am appointment this morning so this morning I arrived at 10:31 after traveling almost an hour and was ignored for 7 minutes while desk clerk Sara was calling tomorrows appointments. So I went over to the other doctors window and that girl and she said Sara handled Dr Olshausen appointments and I was sent back to Sara who finally checks my appointment time and says sorry you will have to reschedule the doctor cancelled your appointment for being late. It was now 10:38. I told her that would be totally unacceptable and that I drove almost an hour to get there and was on time for my appointment even though it took her 7 minutes to acknowledge me. She informed me she would check with Josh the Doctors assistant and walked away. When she returned she had a smirk on her face as she smugly informed me the best she could do for me was reschedule. It seemed as though she was enjoying herself. I told her absolutely not and informed her I intended on recounting these events online. If you desire a doctor and staff that treat you with respect and dignity you should probably keep looking based on my experience with this office. Grade of F- across the board. I am a business professional and I know you always, always treat your clients well. This seems like maybe a case of someone getting too big for their britches. I am ashamed and embarrassed for them. Even worse is I am a diebetic and am not suppose to get stressed, obviously the doctor doesnt think that matters. Shameful way to treat patients! I hear great things about other physicians in this group but unfortunately they are not accepting new patients. I think I have a pretty good idea why Dr. Olshausen has openings.
