This review is a bummer to write as I really try to support local/small businesses as often as possible. They have a pretty decent selection of athletic shoes, and the floor salesperson was really knowledgeable about the products and provided top notch service. However, when I attempted to make a purchase with a valid gift certificate, I was told the manager would have to assist with the transaction. I was then accused by the manager of being in possession of a stolen gift certificate. I was ultimately able to redeem the gift certificate, but in short, the customer experience was very insulting and strange.
They did not have my size in the style I wanted, but the salesperson assured me she would order them and then call me when they were in. Three weeks later I had still not heard from them, so I called to inquire. The salesperson first said, "Well there have been two holidays since you called" (that would be Father's Day and 4th of July, neither of which should actually impact an order delivery by more than a day). When I said that was not really a valid reason for taking three weeks, she then told me, "Well, this is our most popular shoe style and I am not sure we can even get it for you." Huh? She did say she would reorder and then call me back. Guess what? Never received a return phone call for a second time. So I went online, ordered them with 20% discount and free shipping and got them in 48hrs. This is why I will never shop at this business again.
Very helpful staff who are knowledgeable and will get you the right shoes for your feet. Good selection of work boots, athletic shoes, men's dress shoes and women's shoes.
Come on! They might have been busy with something. They are absolutely superb in their customer service.
I bought a pair of Chinese Red Wings that did not fit well. I live about an hour and a half from Medford, so I don't go there often. I returned about two months later with my ill fitting boots, which was beyond Red Wings replacement provisions, but they returned them and gave full credit towards a pair that we ordered from Red Wing (American-made). There are few retailers who would do that.
My son and I recently went shopping to find quality work boots for his job. We received great customer service from Kristen who took a lot of time to fit his narrow foot and to explain how a proper fit should feel. She was extremely knowledgable about shoe fitting. Another great reason to shop locally!
