The manager was really personable, but besides that, my first and most likely my last experience was poor. I waited 15 minutes for my sandwich and it wasn't even very busy. $9.00 for a very average 8 inch sandwich. Doesnt live up to the hype! I won't return unfortunately.
I am being generous with this one star. The food is extremely over priced. The staff is terrible. After waiting nearly 20 minites after my order was supposed to be ready ( I ordered online) I had to go back to the counter and have them find my sandwich on the back counter. Nobody knew how long it had been back there. A simple apology or an offer to make a new and warm sandwich would have gone a long way. But I received neither. I will not be going back.
I would like to give this establishment a higher rating because the building is brand new a looks fantastic, but I cannot.. while standing in line to exchange a stale bag of chips I watched one of the employees making a salad dump a bag of visibly bad lettuce into a bowl and proceed to pull out more than a handful of all of the soggy lettuce. She did not replace the bad lettuce with good just continued preparing the food as if it was sufficient. If that was my meal I would have been pissed. the staff is not friendly and does not have the proper training for the menu a simple question as to what was on a sandwich could not be answered. I really hope they pull it together but my experience was atrocious.
The food was great, however, I ordered a 4 inch steak and cheese. It took about 15 minutes to get my sandwich and there was 1 person ahead of me. Also, $6.29 for a 4 inch is ridiculous. $9 for a 8 inch. You can get a foot long at subway for $7. Furthermore, the restaurant was dirty from table to floor. Very nasty.
One of the best subs I've had, so happy it's finally open here in Medford! Friendly staff and great food. A+
