Fueling the drunken homeless problem in our neighborhood with cheap high octane malt liquor at affordable prices .I'm less than a block away my self and when I first moved to the neighborhood it's where I went for my needs, mostly cause the owner was super nice and seemed liked good peoples her employee cherel is a sweet heart too. Sadly towards the end of going there the help became worse quality of people employed who are more concerned with smoking and talking . Besides the great white they sell my standards refused to purchase anything else of that quality , it's mostly bum supplies , they seem to always be hovering close by to trade in rifled cans and bottles for their next tall-cans & 40oz, they even trade mopping the floors for beer with the bums. I pity anyone who goes in and has to smell anything when theirs a line of drunken homeless addicts yuck ! I kept trying not to blame them but on some days these entilited bum don't even leave sight of the store and drink on people's front door stoops and in front of business interrupting my street mostly. I even had a knife pulled on me from one of their customers who felt entitled to drink with his friends on my street so they were close enough to go back. They should focus on not polluting our community by enabling these degenerates with cheap beer ,the lowest quality food items, letting them panhandle out front and should not be encouraging such behavior by trading work for beer. I wish they would stand up for the downtown and be apart of the solution like thrifty nifty a block down who refuses that clientele. Imagine if they did the problem would have to migrate.
Sorry but enough is enough!
I truly wish they could truly see the problems they cause in our neighbor and be accountable to make a change to better downtown , we need it so desperately .
It's come a long way and it's not as funky as it was a year ago. Wish they had more goods.
