Gale contractors insulated under our home 10 years ago. Afterward we had some gas plumbing installed under our home and the installer said that he noticed that around 25% of the floor insulation was missing. I called Gale Contractors in this regard, since they were contracted to insulate 100% of the floor and they said they would send an installer out to complete the job. An installer came and crawled under the home and we assumed that it was complete. Four months ago we sold this home and when the home inspector inspected the floor he commented on the missing insulation under the home. We contacted Gale Contractors and in the beginning they acted like they wanted to remedy the problem. In the end they decided that it was too long ago to remedy and that it was too hard to crawl. I am 68 years old and I crawled it. We paid for 100% of the floor to be insulated, but we only got 75% of the floor insulated. We just moved into another home that needs some insulation and you can imagine who I did't call for the work.
As a former employee I can tell you it is best to look elsewhere insulation services. They don't pay a fair wage to installers so they can't keep people working. They say you can make up to a thousand a week but average was always around $350. There salesman Jeff brown make mistakes on a weekly bases were employees may not have the right material or enough to complete jobs or even have the proper equipment. There new manager Steve Williams took the job without having any insulation experience so we employees with less then 2 years experience had to teach him what we learned. He didn't even now how to use the company computers system and had to get his wife to go in and figure it out for him.
