Tim and Katie, owners of Case Coffee run a close 3rd to GB. Your capucino/latte is either made to Tim's high standards...or he tosses it out and starts over. T/K do not make excuses.

After trying Every coffee shop in the valley (30+)...Ashland to Shady Cove..there are only 3 that I recommend. Good Bean off North Phoenix rd (easy to miss), Good Bean in J-ville and Case Coffee in Ashland. At the NFrd GB... Lissette, Tiffany, Danielle, Alonzo and the other barristas and kitchen staff (esp Daniel) are ALL dedicated, competent and seem genuinely pleased to see each customer...even those from California. Lissette's crew edges out the J-ville staff. Capucinos and Lattes are rich and creamy...even with 2%. Cranberry- Walnut bagel with herb spread...yummm. The Selfie Bagel toasting machine is iffy. You may never see your precious bagel again.
The East Medford location of my favorite local coffee shop (from Jacksonville). Great coffee with some breakfast items, bagels, baked goods, tea and drinks. Nice little place in the business park just past Roxy Ann Winery to meet friends for coffee, conversation and bites. It's worth it!
All 3 shops are Winners...an ok 4th choice, if walking on the Ashland Plaza, is Mix....Just skip all the valley roadside stands and their watery bitter amateurish failures.
The valley does have Excellent coffee...you just have to look ....starting with the NFrd Good Bean.
I really, really love the coffee here. I tend to judge a coffee place by both the hot coffee as well as the blended drinks (whether it seems like something I could have made at home with a few qicecubes and a cheap blender or if it's delicious, creamy and flavorful), ...it's all good here. The food as well. They get it right every time, the ingredients are fresh & high quality, and they're consistent. The wait isn't that long for the orders, either, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.
