A great local outdoor resource. Scott and his crew go above and beyond to help you get the correct gear for your adventure. They have a wide variety of rental equipment, including bear canisters (which we used this last trip). They are a true local store, helping you out when you make a mistake (such as forgetting to pick up said bear canister and needing to arrive 10 minutes after they close).
Very nice people who work here, but the selection of shoes is very poor.
Very cool store and very cool owners. They really go the extra mile to help. They're competing with the big box stores. They're just local folks trying to build relationships with their customers.
These guys are super helpful, very knowledgeable, professional, and have a great selection. I've never had a problem with exchanges or returns (esp. as I'm someone who keeps my receipts for big purchases so as to help things go smooth in such an event), and they've even helped me repair worn or damaged equipment, which is above and beyond for any retail store, IMHO. I'd definitely recommend checking the place out.
