This venue hires bands that present and promote brutal violence against Women and Children. This is a horrendous display for a venue in our community. We stand strongly together as a Community with Zero Tolerance for such Violence therefore Boycotting this venue.
We went to watch a friend play. Website said show starts at 8 and runs until 11. Showed up at 8, place was closed. Sign inside door said show starts at 9:30. Came back at 9:30 played pool until 11, Johnny B played extremely loud and painful for about 30 min. We couldn't stay any longer and left - never got to see our friends preform. Not what we expected.
Met Johnny years ago at Muddy Roots Music Festival. Just happened to be in Medford and stopped in for a show. Great little place! The kind of spot I'd frequent if I lived close.
Johnny's should be utilized a lot more than what it is. He always brings in great entertainment. Matter of fact you can find bands that are used to playing for several hundred people if not a thousand, you could catch them during the week at Johnny's and they'll be playing for a dozen people. I think if people knew just how good the entertainment was that he brings to their there be a lot more people showing up for these shows.
Live music with interesting musicians and dont forget the bar.
